The Trip
Inner Trail is a trip through nature and through yourself. Wilderness guides and coaches take you on an exploration to (re)discover your natural self. Away from our safe predictable environment we create a setting to let go of the delusion of the day. A delusion in which we sometimes forget that we are a creature of nature. We use the simplicity of the outdoors and the workings of nature as a driving force for change. This allows a crowded head to give way to a fresh open mind so that your creativity starts to flow again.
Definitely not your usual (work) environment or your everyday experience. Because we are going to participate in the traditional life too mountain of the High Atlas in Morocco. Fully in Berber style with mules, we will trek along paths that the locals have been hiking for thousands of years and climb peaks amidst impressive nature. Along the way we pass local mountain villages and experience the hospitality and culture of this region.

Theme and levels
The theme of this trip is Wild Reset. Stripped of unnatural stimuli and everyday entertainment, use the workings of nature as the driving force for a reset. We will guide you through an educational wilderness experience with various physical and mental aspects. Each day will be filled with new insights: through the effect of nature, through challenging questions, through inner reflection and our ongoing conversations. Not your usual work week or day at the office’. The main entry requirement for this trip is an open mind and a bit of character. Also, and good basic fitness is nice during this trip. Experience with (wild) camping is not necessary. We will guide you through landscape and equip you with the skills needed to move self-sufficiently and comfortably. Trust the process.

Nutrition
Food is provided by us throughout the week and is included in the price: breakfast, lunch and dinners during the stays, as well as camp meals in the Atlas Mountains.
Travel guarantee and booking
The departure of this trip is guaranteed from 4 people. A maximum of 6 people can join the trip. This trip is a package tour and in order to comply with the legally required guarantee on package tours, Rewild uses the guarantee of VZR Garant. You can find the conditions of this guarantee scheme on the website of VZR Garant.
Insurance
To participate in Rewild trips, you must be insured for activities in mountainous areas off the beaten track. You can inquire about this with your current insurance company or purchase travel insurance from the Dutch Climbing and Mountaineering Association.

Travel Program
Day 1
Travel Day
On Day 1, we arrive in Marrakech, where the journey and our conversations begin after a drive through the Atlas Mountains.
Day 2 through 5
Wild journey
After waking up, we prepare ourselves and our equipment, go over the plan one more time and then disappear into the wilderness of Morocco. Days 2 through 5 are filled with intense tracking and constant conversation. Each day, each new route, takes us through immense green valleys and over breathtaking mountains, rewarding us with breathtaking views before we arrive at a place to set up camp, where a campfire and stargazing await us.
Day 6
Back to civilization
We conclude our wilderness journey with an overnight stay in a very special, remote cottage in a small Berber village, before returning to civilization on Day 7.
Day 7
Travel Day
After a drive back to Marrakech, we travel safely back home. Refreshed and rested.

How do I book a trip on your website?

Can I cancel or change my booking?
Yes, cancellation is possible according to our terms and conditions: up to 8 weeks before departure you pay only the deposit, after that increasing costs apply up to 100% just before departure.
Do you offer travel insurance?
No, we do not offer travel insurance ourselves. We recommend mountaineering insurance through the NKBV.
Are there any hidden fees or service charges?
No, there are no hidden costs. All unavoidable additional costs are clearly stated in advance in the travel price.
Do you also rent equipment or materials?
Yes, some of the required equipment is available for rent on our trips. We offer these rental options during the booking process. There you can see exactly what gear is available and add it directly to your booking. That way you don’t have to arrange this separately in advance.
What payment methods do you accept?
You can pay with us easily and safely via iDEAL and Bancontact. It is also possible to pay by bank transfer. All payments go through our secure booking system Bookinglayer.
