Staying on course in the midst of daily turbulence. Taking leadership over your own life, no matter what is going on around you. With developing resilience and robustness as a central focus, we headed into the wilderness of Swedish Lapland: Sarek National Park. An ultimate place to learn more about each person’s unique path.

Accompanied by outdoor guides and coach, we left in early September for an extremely wild but serene autumn trip. A trip as real as it was metaphorical. Traversing the tundra, wading through ice rivers, over moose trails and past imposing glaciers. A place without human infrastructure, stripped of unnatural stimuli and the mundane entertainment circus. A decisive setting to let go of the delusion of the day. A delusion in which we still sometimes forget that we are a creature of nature and not a technologically manufactured product.

We, Team Sarek, a group of 5 participants and 3 guides. All with our dreams and bruises. But all a desire for inspiration in our lives, a deeper self-awareness and open to reflection. To live life to the fullest. But also to take a step into self-leadership so that we can be a force for positive change in our circles, both at work and at home.

Why are you doing what you are doing? Why don’t you do what you do want to do? And why are you doing what you don’t really want to do? Three fundamental questions to help you reset your course and grow inner awareness. With the simplicity of the outdoors and the workings of nature as the driving force. Definitely not a usual week at work, such a week at Sarek!
