A tiny impression of first aid in last weekend’ s wilderness course.
A two-day practical training in which everything revolves around being safe and more self-reliant on the road, further from civilization. Just a few topics: providing medical assistance when emergency services are not readily available, being able to save yourself in remote areas, calling for help when you are out of range, putting together a specific first aid kit, being able to find your way with a map and compass, determining coordinates, taking stock of risks, purifying water, determining safety equipment, making evaluation protocols, using a GPS emergency button.
